Paneer Butter Masala
Ingredients
- 100 gms Paneer
- 1/4 cup Onion paste
- 3 tblsp Vegetable oil
- 2 Green Chillies
- Salt - to taste
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Dhaniya powder
- 1 tsp Jeera powder(Cumin seeds)
- 2 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- 3 tsp Fresh Cream
- ½ cup Tomato puree
- ½ cup Curd(Yougurt)
- 4 tsp Cashwenut paste
- 2 tsp Butter
- Coriander (Cilantro) for garnishing.
Directions
- Cut Paneer into medium size pieces.
- Heat oil in a kadai & add Onion paste, fry till brown in colour.
- Add Green chillies, Ginger garlic paste & fry for 2 mins.
- Now add Red Chilli powder, Dhaniya powder, jeera powder, Garam masala, turmeric & salt. Mix well & fry for 3-4 mins.
- Add Toamto puree, Curd, Cashwenut paste, Butter, fresh cream & Paneer to it. Mix well & boil for 2-3 mins.
- Garnish with Coriander & serve hot with Roti, Kulcha, Naan or Chapati.
- TIP: Paneer can also be lightly fried before adding it to the gravy.
